Final Packing List (Updated 3/9/2006)

One question I have gotten a lot, is what I plan on packing. While my bags are not yet packed, I have spent nearly two months compiling a list, based off of a list provided by the Peace Corps as well as lists provided by other volunteers. I am fairly confident everything will fit into my bags, but we shall soon see. Below, I have included everything but toiletries due to space, but I am pretty much bringing two of every toiletry you can think of, with the exception of contacts which I am bringing a year supply of. The only restriction is that "the Peace Corps' allowance is two checked pieces of luggage with combined dimensions of both pieces not to exceed 107 inches (length + width + height) and a carry on bag with dimensions of no more than 45 inches. Checked baggage should not exceed 80 pounds total with a maximum weight allowance of 70 pounds for any one bag.
